Goodman attended Lewis Institute in 1923 as a high school sophomore while also playing the clarinet in a dance hall band. The legendary orchestra conductor and jazz musician received an honorary LL.D. degree from IIT in 1968. Photographer unknown. Date listed is approximate.

Glancy served as head baseball coach from 1947 until 1971 and as Athletic Director from 1971 until his retirement in 1983. Glancy, who was also the university's basketball coach, is a member of the Illinois Tech Athletics Hall of Fame, and the university's baseball field is named in his honor.… more
