Heald would be named President of Armour Tech shortly after, and remained President of Armour Tech and, later, Illinois Institute of Technology, until 1952. Photograpger unknown.

The UNIVAC 1108/II was one of the most powerful computers in Illinois at the time of its installation, and it replaced the IBM 360/75 located in the Commons basement.
