Heald would be named President of Armour Tech shortly after, and remained President of Armour Tech and, later, Illinois Institute of Technology, until 1952. Photograpger unknown.

Glancy served as head baseball coach from 1947 until 1971 and as Athletic Director from 1971 until his retirement in 1983. Glancy, who was also the university's basketball coach, is a member of the Illinois Tech Athletics Hall of Fame, and the university's baseball field is named in his honor.… more
