Description Photograph of a man working on UNIVAC UNISERVO VIII-C tape drives and UNIVAC 1108 Model II computer in the Computer Science Building (3201 S. Michigan). The UNIVAC 1108/II was one of the most powerful computers in Illinois at the time of its installation, and it replaced the IBM 360/75 located in the Commons basement.
