Date of photograph is unknown. Date listed (1950) is approximate date. Building address is 3322 South Dearborn Street, constructed 1944 (demolished ca. 1961). Built to house the laboratory of the Parmly Foundation for Auditory Research. From the time of its construction, this building was not intended to be a permanent structure. The buildings that eventually became the Armour Research Foundation (ARF) Administration Building were constructed as the Binga State Bank (1924) and Binga Arcade Building (1929) by African-American entrepreneur Jesse Binga.
